Programmes
The College of Horticulture offers B Sc (Hons.) degree in Horticulture at the undergraduate and M Sc, MBA (Agribusiness) and Ph D degrees in different disciplines at postgraduate level. The constituent departments of the college offer courses of horticulture for postgraduate programmes and Ph D in their respective disciplines. The teachers of the departments are fully involved in framing of course curricula, teaching and evaluation of students and research guidance to postgraduate students. The academic activities of the college are implemented strictly in accordance with the provisions in the Academic Regulations of the University approved by the Academic Council.

However, in the case of individual students, the normal duration for any degree may be extended by two semesters by the Dean of the College on the recommendation of the Advisor and the Head of the Department. The Vice Chancellor, on the recommendation of the Dean of the college, may further permit a student to register for two more semesters in the programme.
