Pesticide Residue Analysis Services
The Pesticide Residue Laboratory, Department of Entomology, offers advanced and reliable pesticide residue analysis for a wide range of agricultural commodities, including crops, fruits, vegetables, medicinal plants, as well as soil and water samples. The laboratory is NABL-accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and has held accreditation for pesticide residue detection in fruits and vegetables since 2014. The facility ensures scientifically robust, high-precision testing in compliance with national and international quality standards.

Laboratory Capabilities
State-of-the-art analytical platforms, including
- LC–MS/MS for multi-residue quantification of polar and semi-polar pesticides
- GC–MS/MS for detection of volatile and thermally stable pesticide residues
Well-equipped sample processing facilities, including homogenization, extraction, cleanup, and safe storage infrastructure (deep freezers, cold room facilities).
Validated and standardized QuEChERS and other extraction methods for multi-residue analysis.
Highly trained technical staff with extensive experience in pesticide residue research and regulatory compliance.
