2. Other activities

Seminars /Workshops/ Kisan Mela/ Field Day:

  • A Kisan mela was organised by the station on 06-09-2018 at Upper Kullu Valley Fruit Growers Association, Mahili at Patlikuhal, Distt., Kulu which was attended by 200 farmers of the area.
  • A lecture on the ‘Activities of the RHRTS Bajaura-Kullu’ was delivered on the foundation day of the ICAR-Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute at North Temperate Regional Centre-Garsa, Distt Kullu on 9th February, 2019 which was attended by 100 farmers of the surrounding area
  •  A lecture on the ‘Activities of the RHRTS Bajaura-Kullu’ was delivered on the day of ‘Pradhanmantri Kisan Samman Nidhi’ on 24th February, 2019 which was attended by 150 farmers of the surrounding area and Hon’ble MLA Darang Vidhnashabha Constituency, and Banjar Vidhansabha Constituency

3. Proposed extension education activities to be undertaken during 2019-20.

One day field training camps:

  • 1-day Field Training on scientific cultivation of fruits in Kullu district (10 nos.)
  • 1-day Field Training on scientific cultivation of fruits in Mandi district (8nos.)
  • 1-day Field Training on scientific cultivation of fruits in Lahaul and Spiti district (6 nos.)
